The Perception of Food Quality and Food Value among the Purchasing Intentions of Street Foods in the Capital of the Philippines

Transformations in modern lifestyles have caused changes people’s food consumption, elevating the status of street foods to one favored choices. However, very few studies been dedicated investigating why become a popular choice among consumers. This study aimed apply modified version original theory planned behavior (TPB), which includes domains affecting intention purchase while adding perceived quality and value together with convenience. A total 1361 respondents answered survey based on extended TPB constructs. Focusing college graduates country, Structural Equation Modeling was utilized for statistical analysis. Convenience proved highest indirect effect foods, explaining foods’ ubiquitous patronized image—which affected domains. followed by quality, also had significant direct behavioral higher than value. Further discussion between presented. provided recommendations that vendors, government, related private businesses, consumers themselves can use improve sustainable community businesses. In conclusion, this contributes limited literature promotion purchasing consuming foods.
